SIP / VOIP Architect (WebRTC, PBX)

What We Need
Oivan is seeking a talented and experienced SIP Integration Engineer to join our team for a 9 to 18-month engagement. This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing seamless integration between our WebRTC-based videoconferencing system and Cisco Webex. 

Candidates should possess strong technical skills in SIP, WebRTC, and Cisco Webex, along with troubleshooting and optimization capabilities. Project experience in VoIP installations and familiarity with Cisco Systems is preferred. This role will collaborate closely with the IT department to create an innovative system designed to enhance productivity, managing both VoIP hardware and software.

What You'll Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for building a SIP to WebRTC bridge and integration into a secure videoconferencing system. The role requires deep knowledge of VoIP/SIP/WebRTC technologies. 

The ability to build custom solutions, using the mentioned technologies as well as knowledge of Cisco devices are essential to troubleshoot and optimize the integration processes. 
  
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement SIP-based integration solutions for WebRTC and Cisco endpoints.
  • Provide technical leadership in SIP and WebRTC, ensuring best practices are maintained.
  • Support engineering and project management in voice communications for medium to large projects, including assessments, design, planning, integration, testing, and implementation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (network designs, SOPs, user guides) for customer education and knowledgebase support.
  • Diagnose and resolve SIP integration issues, including call setup and connectivity.
  • Advise on network switch configuration for optimal performance and troubleshoot VoIP/SIP hardware problems.
  • Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and product managers for seamless integration.
  • Analyze existing VoIP networks and support daily operations of the VoIP system.

What You Have
Our ideal candidate will fulfil the following requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electronics engineering technology, computer science, information systems management, or a related field is required for this position 
  • 6 to 10 years of work experience in the IT industry with two or more years of VOIP expertise 
  • Excellent knowledge of IP networks and technologies such as NAT, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, MPLS, and WAN 
  • Must have experience on Cisco Routers, Structured Cabling, and LAN/WAN circuits; PRI, SIP, MPLS, FXO, FXS, and POTS.  
  • Proven experience in SIP and WebRTC protocols. 
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Webex and its API. 
  • Strong background in integrating videoconferencing systems. 
  • Knowledge of Open Source VOIP solutions is a plus 
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, and other telecommunication networks architecture 
  • Knowledge of Golang is essential 
  • Experience in open source PBXs in considered an advantage 
  • Certifications that are considered an advantage but not necessary: 
    • Certification on Cisco voice systems 
    • CompTIA Network+ - This certification validates the hands-on skills needed to troubleshoot, configure, and manage both wired and wireless networks. 
    • CompTIA Security+ -  This certification provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs.
