What We Need
Oivan is seeking a senior backend expert with over 5 years of extensive experience in Golang, Node.js, and Flutter Web to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain the backend architecture of a secure visual communication platform tailored for the government sector in Saudi Arabia.
You will have a significant impact by collaborating with one of our key clients while supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring timely access to critical information, advancing healthcare innovation, and aligning with the nation’s commitment to leveraging technology for progress.
What You'll Do
Leveraging your extensive experience in backend development, you will architect, build, and optimize scalable solutions to ensure the platform's reliability, performance, and security. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Develop and maintain the backend systems and APIs powering the platform, adhering to best practices and industry standards
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features and functionalities
- Conduct thorough code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve system efficiency
- Lead initiatives to enhance platform security, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Optimize database structures and queries for improved performance and scalability
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose their integration where appropriate to elevate platform capabilities
What You Have
Our ideal candidate will fulfill the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
- 6+ years of professional experience in backend development
- Strong command of Golang and Kubernetes
- Experience with open-source databases such as PostgreSQL
- DevOps experience, including containerization technologies such as Docker
- Expertise in Linux Code
- Proven track record of leading projects, mentoring team members, and driving technical excellence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
